Our Cairo office, ERS, has won The Global Award for Perfection, Quality & Ideal Performance (Quality Summit, Berlin 2010.

Our California office, USGAT participated with a paper on "Quality Standards" at ATA (American Translators' Association) 50th Annual Convention, held in New York during the period of October 27-30, 2009.  The paper, delivered by Dr. Amal A. El-Hadary, USGAT Chief Translator and Owner, was very well received by conference participants from all over the world.  Dr. El-Hadary compared the European translation norm EN 15038: 2006 with the US translation standard ASTM F2575-06 and focused on creativity versus conformity. 

It is noteworthy that this year's ATA 50th annual meeting focused on translation memory tools and solutions (such as Tradus Studio, WordFast, Snowball, and other newly emerging translation memory softwares), terminology management and quality assurance. 

ATA experience in New York was remarkable for both networking and keeping up with the most up-to-date developments in the translation industry.  But our experience was really crowned with the quality award our office in Cairo received after seven years of translation excellence since its inception in 2003.
